Wine is "restricted". What does that mean in practice?

For B2B accounts: upload your excise paperwork once in Settings - Compliance - Alcohol. From then on, beer, wine and spirits up to 70% ABV ship on standard service to 18 EU destinations, with the recipient's age verified by the courier on delivery. Private customers can ship a maximum of 2 bottles per parcel as a personal-quantity exception, EU-only.

My device has a built-in battery. Do I have to declare it?

Yes, every time. Switch the device off (not sleep), drain to under 30% charge for shipments going by air, and tick the lithium flag at booking. The calculator handles the UN 3481 paperwork - you just need to be honest.

What happens if a forbidden item is found in a parcel I sent?

The carrier will either return the parcel at your cost or, for serious cases (explosives, narcotics, sanctioned-list goods), hand it to the relevant authority and notify us. The shipping fee is non-refundable, and recurring offences will close the account. If you realise after booking that you made a mistake, contact support immediately - the parcel is much easier to intercept before its first hub scan.

Why are perfectly legal items (cannabis CBD, airsoft replicas) refused?

Because shipments cross multiple jurisdictions. A CBD product legal in Germany may transit a country where it isn't, and the parcel is judged on the route's strictest rule. The same applies to replica weapons, certain seeds, and specific cosmetic ingredients.

I'm not sure my item is on the list. Who do I ask?

Email compliance@jetsend.example with the product datasheet (or a link), the origin and destination, and the quantity per parcel. We reply within one business day with a yes / no / yes with conditions. No charge.

Q: My power bank is under 100 Wh. Can I just put it in any parcel?

Yes - under our standard ground service. Tape over the terminals, ship a maximum of two units per parcel, and tick "contains lithium battery" in the calculator so the right barcode gets printed on the label. For air shipments, the carrier may still cap the parcel at one unit; the calculator will tell you when that happens.
